| Pilates
is THE exercise regimen that is for EVERYONE.
People say to me all the time, "I can’t do that." "It’s too hard." "I don’t move that way." "I could never stretch that much." Then they do a session with me and find out, that those statements are NOT true. While this is defined as ’exercise’, the movements are easy to learn, there are no weights, and you find yourself in a nurturing environment. Pilates is a method of MOVEMENT that was created over 100 years ago. Everyone MOVES, wouldn’t you agree? The movements I will teach you are easy to learn. Each session is designed to hone your muscles, and access your inner strength.
Now the degree to which we move varies with our body type, and muscle tone. The key is MOVING. Through these new movements, your body is taught to respond in a new way. Graceful movements and fluid motion are by-products of Pilates. The exercises are graceful so not only are you toning your muscles, you are teaching your body to ACT in a different way. Our mission is to bring grace and balance to your life by connecting your mind, body, and spirit through innovative Pilates techniques. |
