What is the Balanced Spirit Pilates Challenge?

12-week regimen for better health including 3 private lessons plus an educational series on health, nutrition, stress management, weight loss and motivational techniques.

What can I expect during the Challenge?

You will see a difference in your body shape and your mental outlook towards overall health and wellness. As your body changes you will notice your clothes fit better, your posture will improve, and the annoying aches and pains will disappear. As you progress through the Challenge you will experience a more positive mental state.

I want to lose weight is this a good program for me?

Pilates is not a system developed for weight loss, however, some people may lose weight if that is their goal. We recommend that you also add 30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times per week into your workout program. Positive healthy diets during the Challenge will also help you do very well and continue these habits past the Challenge. We are helping create long term goals and habits so whatever you put into the Challenge now you will achieve long term goals into your future. 

What happens if I need to miss a class or a lesson? 

It is in your best interest to be as consistent as possible so that your results will be as positive as possible. We understand life happens and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule as much as reasonably possible; however, the late cancellation policy will apply to The Balanced Spirit Pilates Challenge: we request that you give a full 24-hour notice to cancel any private or class sessions, otherwise you will forfeit your class or session.

What if my schedule is busy because of work and home?

Yes, this program is a big commitment. We are happy to work with your schedules and be flexible with times and days to help accommodate your busy life. We want to this to be a fun experience and be able to form a new habit of exercise.

Is Pilates the right exercises for me?

PILATES IS FOR EVERYONE! There is no prerequisite in terms of Pilates knowledge for the Challenge. What is most important for the Challenge is your commitment to it-meaning you will get out the Challenge what you put into to reach your health goals. 

Program Features:

Initial placement session to assess starting fitness level and determine appropriate Pilates leveling for classes

Individualized programs per your level and advancement

FREE-Weekly educational meetings held on Monday evenings 6:00-7:00pm with various related health topics to assist in monitoring progress and support
